There is a washer and dryer that can be used upon request. The house is cleaned daily to keep it sparkling.

KA healthy breakfast is included. We provide an assortment of tropical fruit, breads and bagels, cereals, milk, juice, teas and coffee. Guests may help themselves to breakfast in the morning. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining - complete with toaster, microwave, coffee maker, blender, BBQ etc. There is a refrigerator in the kitchen for our guest’s groceries.

The lanai patio is where the gang can hang out in the converted carport, local style, barbecuing and watching the sun go down. Warm evenings in the yard offer endless star gazing! The house is surrounded by tropical landscaping, fruit trees, and a large backyard for playing and sunbathing.

More Information

The owners of Ku’au Inn are Neil and Julie Thompson. They have lived on Maui since the 70’s. The Inn has onsite "live in" management to assist with any guest needs or enquiries. They hope visitors will relax and enjoy the island lifestyle. Ku’au Inn has an informal and pleasantly social atmosphere.

Please note: As Maui is a tropical environment there are insects and geckos everywhere on the island. These insects are harmless and part of living in Hawaii . Although the house is kept very clean at all times, it sits beside a sugarcane field, and it is possible that some geckos and other insects could find their way into the house. We have very few, but it happens.

Without regular poisoning, all Hawaii dwellings will have some insects at times. Ku’au Inn has a policy of not poisoning for the health of the environment, ourselves and our guests. If this is a concern, please consider this before booking.

We would love to meet and host you Maui style!

Kuau Inn has won the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2016, 2014, and 2013.
